LOCTITE SF7063 LIMPIADOR GENER

LOCTITE® SF 7063 is a CFC-free, solvent-based formulation for cleaning and degreasing surfaces to be bonded with LOCTITE® adhesives. The product can also be used for cleaning and degreasing machine components during maintenance services.

LOCTITE® SF 7063 has no effect on the cure speed or ultimate strength of LOCTITE® adhesives other than to provide a clean surface for good adhesion and adhesive cure. Dirty or partially clean surfaces can affect adhesive performance.

The cleaner should be handled in the manner applicable to highly flammable materials and in compliance with relevant local regulations. Take precautions to avoid contact of the product or its vapours with flames, or any electrical equipment that is not flameproof. Solvent may affect certain plastics or coatings. Before use it is recommended to check compatibility with all surfaces. This product is not recommended for use with pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich systems, and should not be chosen as a sealer for chlorine or other strong oxidizers.

Directions for use
1. Treat the surfaces to be cleaned by spraying or wiping with paper towels dipped in solvent.
2. Wipe the surfaces, while still wet, with paper towels to ensure that all residues have been removed. 3.
3. If necessary, repeat the cleaning process.
4. Allow sufficient time for the solvent to evaporate. Before joining the parts together, the surfaces must be completely dry.
5. Apply Loctite® adhesive and assemble the joint.

The product is classified as flammable and must be stored in an appropriate manner, in compliance with the relevant regulations. Do not store near oxidising agents or combustible materials. Store the product in its closed containers, and in a dry place. Storage information may also be indicated on the labelling of the product container. Optimum storage: 8 °C to 21 °C. Storage below 8 °C or above 28 °C may adversely affect the properties of the product.
